Description By far the longest chapter yet. I feel that we may have been overly ambitious in plotting this one out, but it's done and done on-schedule, and whatever else might be said of it, I'm glad of that. Full chapter can be found here: [link]

Totally work-safe for a change!

Pencils, as always, by the incomparable Kenji, whose DA can be found somewhere right around here:

A Space for my Heart

Part 2

Chapter 3:

Meet the Family

♂♂♂♂♂♂♂♂♂♂♂♂♂♂

Dirk zoomed in with his shades to watch another planet, further away than the first, growing from an invisible pinprick of red light to a full-sized land, half-way across the incipisphere. He had to admit that this whole thing was sort of getting away from him. He was normally such a go-getter. Normally he took such pride at being on top of everything. He’d been distracted, sure, and he didn’t regret that, and granted he’d come to something resembling an epiphany regarding his penchant for string-pulling, but there came a point where he had to acknowledge that he was kind of slipping here, and he was now well past that point.

Already, as if reading his mind (or perhaps just having the same thoughts independently) Kanaya was getting dressed again behind him as he scrutinized the situation. “I believe that we should make contact with the others,” she said, pulling up her panties. “I will get in touch with Karkat. If there is anyone in your group who you think might be dealing with this situation responsibly…?” She let the question hang as she got her shirt on and straightened it out.

It was a valid question. Jake was right out of the question, and it sounded like Roxy was hitting the sauce again pretty hard. That was a disappointment, but he guessed she had cause for celebration. He just hoped she wasn’t all the way off the wagon after all the progress she’d made. That left just one option.

He opened up his shades’ interface and got Pesterchum going. There was that whole slew of blinking lights again. He opened up Jane’s tab and saw the series of four attempts she’d made to get in touch with him. He was really going to need to produce a new autoresponder, he decided. One with a bit less cognition and free-will, obviously, but enough wherewithal to secretary the shit out of this kind of thing when he wanted or needed a little privacy but didn’t want to leave a bunch of people without their critical, up-to-the-minute updates on all things Strider.

Favorite thing is the subtle Erisol addition.

We try our best to include at least something funny in pretty much all of the art we do. Sometime my idea, more often Kenji's. Even the really smutty ones.

Hell, especially the really smutty ones.

Well, it's really well done and very funny.

And of course the smutty ones. There was never any doubt.

Thanks for the heads up. I very nearly fell for that spammer's cruel ruse!

Glad you like the pic, and hope you check out the rest of the set and indeed the blog it comes from. We had a lot of fun with this week's chapter, even if it isn't our usual NSFW fare.

Ah thanks for the warning! I was concerned about this comment, therefore I made a journal of it. We're u a victim of this?

no but my friend was, and the idiot says the same thing over and over to every new deviation, so make sure if you or your friends see it that they don't click it.
Especially if you go to the person's account and there's absolutely nothing on it, then it's definitely a spammer.
