And here we have the second of two pieces of art for the long-awaited first chapter of part three of our epic Dirk/Kanaya romance, A Space for My Heart. I truly believe that this is the best piece of art that my collaborator and I have ever produced together, and it sets the bar by which all of our future efforts ought to be judged. Yes, I went there!This chapter was challenging in a number of ways; both because of the narrative complexity of essentially telling two separate stories which nevertheless flow together in the reading and because it involved a great many characters I had never written before, or not written very much. Nevertheless, I like to think that I handled it with a certain aplomb. I will be very curious to hear what people think of this effort.

Credit for that goes to Kenji; he always manages to pack a few great little details and weird visual ideas into the lineart. I am constantly surprised and entertained by his inspirations.
