Hey I wanna know. Would it be a bad thing to add numbers on the panel to let the readers know of the order of the panels?

Let's put it this way: Wouldn't look very professional, right??

Well, I guess not... I mean, I don't really see manga that do that lD . I guess I'll have to work on panel order and hope that the readers don't get confused.

Actually, if you have done the paneling right, there is no need to number the panels. o,o' You could try to exaggerate the spaces a little in the beginning if you aren't really sure. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1

One more question, how do you put links to connect between one page to another... like what you did in your comic?

Deamond-89 In reply to NinaWindia [2009-09-30 17:33:00 +0000 UTC]

Just copy the link in my bar and paste it into my artist-comment.

Deamond-89 In reply to Sugoivisual [2009-09-20 12:48:52 +0000 UTC]

Well, most of these usually focus on perspective/their role in the page instead of interaction with other panels

Hmm, what's the significance behind the pentagonal panel shape in your non-rectangular example? As a quadrilateral with an acute angle sharply jutting into the panel below I could certainly see it add to dynamism, but I can't see any purpose in it aside from just "being different for variety's sake." Maybe I'm just missing your intent, but I'd rethink that one.

Lovely two-page spread though. I haven't seen flow and readability like that in non-Japanese manga in, well, a long, long time.

In the beginning it is confusing, but with a lil practice, the reading goes so much easier
