Description
Description:Realistic clouds and waterfall video animation tutorial for Photoshop CS3 and above...
How to:
This tutorial is about how to add life to your photo by merging 1 photo and 2 video loops together.
Tips:
You can always buy similar video loops from stock photo or video sites by searching the terms:"seamless clouds" or "clouds loop" or "cloudscape" etc.
If they are not seamless or too long, you can always use the classic After Effects fading in/out trick to make them seamless and short (~3-5 seconds)...
Would you like to try it?
Download all the original files used for the tutorial here: [link]
... and create you own animation!
As always:
Special Thanks:
Thanks you all for the DD!
It is nice to finally have one in a different category,
specially when you get it for helping others...

The quality gets worse when choosing other formats then .mov (the format you use in this tutorial), it gets blurry - what am I doing wrong? That was my question.

that could be a document size, quality or a bitrate setting issue.
why... what's wrong with .mov?

I tried, unfortunately this appeared when I place the clouds movie:
Could not place the document 'clouds.mov'
because QuickTime version 7.1 or later is
required.
hu-hu....

detrans In reply to axis000 [2011-11-30 10:17:52 +0000 UTC]
That is because the movie was compressed with a H.264 codec.
Which is only supported in QuickTime version 7 and above.
I would recommend you to download the latest player:

Not only because of this tutorial, it will be also useful
when you want to watch other H.264 compressed movies...

so I went to Apple.com and downloaded the latest QuickTime (not Pro) and installed it.... I tried the tutorial again and this time another prompt box appeared:
This application has failed to start because QTCF.dll was
not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
hu-hu-hu.... all I ever wanted was to try this tutorial
