Here is my entry for the "Embarrassing Moments" contest! I hope you all like it!

I think it's pretty self explanatory, ha ha.

I will say, though, that I was inspired by 's totally amazing "Finding the Balance" series to make adult Kid's Sanzu Lines complete. Oh, and that I guess this is anime-version Justin Law, since he's, you know, not evil. And that I totally want "in symmetry and asymmetry" to be part of my wedding vows some day.

On a side note, I owe a big debt to this short comic. Even though I have had a Wacom tablet for some years now, I've never really learned how to use it, but this contest inspired me to give digital art one more try. So I did a quick sketch and scanned it in, and, lo and behold, suddenly the Corel program made sense! Amazing! Man, though, if I knew I was going to spend so many hours over so many days working on this pic, I would have worked harder on the initial sketch... I mean, I even added a canonical background! *gasp* But, yeah... Enjoy!

EDIT 08/19/2010: Yay! I got Second Place in the contest! How cool is that? Here's what the judges had to say about it:

"A wedding is DEFINITELY the worst time to have an embarrassing moment, and it was so hilariously done. We also like that Kid's fixation on the ring situation isn't the only joke involved, with Liz's snarky comeback, freakin' Justin presiding over the ceremony (while listening to music, haha he's not even noticing the holdup), and the "in symmetry and asymmetry" bit. We think it was the wittiest entry. It was also the best executed drawing of the entries, and the colors used were vibrant and eye-catching."
