When looking through tutorials, it's always bugged me when they've rushed confusing parts or just when they have tons of typos.
Hopefully people review this before thinking about making one

Yum, gummy bears.... Huh, what? Oh yeah, the tutorial! lol. But that is true, alot of people want to be more specific while others can mainly figure it out on their own. But Specific is alot better.

Yeah - this tutorial was mainly inspired by tuts I read that went along the lines of "And when you've filled your canvas, just mess around with some cloud filters and stock to get a kind of whirly effect."

I like the reasons you've put up there as to why one should make tutorials. I only ever considered one of those possibilities. XD

The problem with using short-cuts is that not everyone has the same short cuts; I changed mine so that it would be easier for me when working, so...

You're right about the shortcuts - I realized it when I tried a Norwegian version of PS at school and the program kept doing odd things when I tried different commands 
Thanks for the comment - the layout are on of the things I like to do most when I make tuts.
As for the banana, for some reason I associate "humour" with "clown slipping on banana", so I searched for banana on sxc.hu and got up that image

So far, I only read part 1 - it's really good. It follows your own guidelines, i.e. being clear, having enough images etcetera. I think it may help aspiring tutorial writers quite a lot, so be proud
