Writing 日本語 in Japanese: Lesson 1I prefer this layout much better, don't you?
Well anyway, this is the followup to my previous lesson on how to read romaji
Again, this is just my test to see how it will look. I still think it will be a while before I put these tutorials up regularly. I also wanted to see every-one's opinion on it.
Any suggestions would be great
In the future I plan to include practice worksheets that you can download as PDFs. Flashcards too!
But it's hard to have that sort of thing when the students only know 5 of the hiragana so this lessons has just the explanations. As the lessons go on the methods of practice will become more elaborate. I'll include things like practice words/sentences that you have to translate back and forth between Hiragana and Romaji.
Like I said, any suggestions on what I can do to help improve your studies will be greatly appreciated.

I really like this. It's super helpful, well laid out and cute to look at but there are a lot of english grammatical errors. Maybe have someone proofread it for you?

"E is pronounced like the 'e' in *hed*" -> 'head'
"Like I mentioned before the *stoke* order..." -> 'stroke'
'The stroke orders might seem a little *aquward)*...." -> 'awkward'

I know what you mean. I always feel somewhat inferior when I sit next to my Chinese friends in class. lol
The only thing they have to remember is the ponounciation.

Thanks for crushing my dreams... I WILL SOO SUCK AT THIS! Really I don't even get stroke orders right in a roman skript! "runs away crying" Although I have to admit. It looks usefull. It would look really fancy if someone can write any asian script.

Something that my teacher always does is she counts all the strokes aloud while she's writing them. Maybe that would help ^.^
