Description
Wha-? enchan made a tutorial? You better believe it! I spent all day on it
For those of you who have asked me how it's done, I present to you the step-by-step manga tutorial~~~!
It's very unprofessional...T___T I'm sorry...I do hope it helps though.
And that tachikiri guide I tell you I'll provide here is here-> [link]
Full view to see the tutorial....It's huuuuge O_O Gomenne~~T^T
The mini comic features my characters from the webcomic MAJESTY -> [link]
I know it doesn't make sense...but I had to come up with something fast enough for the tutorial. (It might make sense if you know the characters
Good Luck~! And enjoy!
Required Tools: The media shown in the first step of the tutorial, Photoshop 5 or higher and ComicWorks.
EDIT: Thanks everyone for all the favs! I'm happy you found this helpful in some sorta way XD;; I edited my site address in the description...and maybe one day I'll fix the address on the tutorial---but it is wrong XD....Remember~~~>enchantma.com!
ANOTHER EDIT: Okay, so the Tachikiri guide isn't working...Nevermind that. Every publishing company has it's own guides anyway but the standard is that the page dimensions should follow a 2:3 ratio.
MORE EDIT: Thank you, for bringing this to my attention but you can find the Tokyopop template if you Google "mechspec5"...She says, "The second link, a pdf file, has the template at the bottom of it"
Now please stop asking me where it is XD;;
FINAL EDIT (I hope): I HAVE A NEW TUTORIAL THAT SHOULD ANSWER WHAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. Please check it out BEFORE asking questions. Thanks!

Call me an idiot(because I am)
but I still don't get it.
What size does the paper you use for the manga have to be?

enchantma In reply to Dj-Sleepy-Girl [2009-03-09 02:19:02 +0000 UTC]
not a prob! i might not have specified because it all depends on which publisher you're looking into, although it's usually a 2:3 ratio. i work on A4 sized paper because it's comfortable...experiment and see what you like =3

Wow, that's sooo different to the way I do manga. o.o Which is totally self-discovered and doesn't follow anyone's particular method. But dude, this looks like it'd be really helpful.
Kudos and thanks for sharing it!

Great tut! I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only person who uses stencils!

LeMongello In reply to enchantma [2008-11-12 23:38:33 +0000 UTC]
Yes! Yes they do. But I find that they sould be used in moderation. I really only use them for rounded shapes. For example circles, ovals, arches, hexagons, etc. The only time I use them for straight line shapes is when I'm drawing teeth on a clock gear, or something like that.
