Hmm, well I've found my method already, but if I havn't had done so, I certainly would have went for this very cool ideas and a very natural-lookin Sun picture. The problem with Suns and stars in most space art is that people do them too dull, they are used to seeing those filtered photo's of the sun showing a deep orange and grainy surface and beleive that's what it really looks like, but in actual fact, it would be considerably brighter more like this
perhaps brighter again to the point its just a white glare, but that would look boring, so we gotta bend the rules a bit

ah, i know I should have done this earlier. Anyway, glad you find this usfull
About shiny stars, well this version is more like a filtered star, like a sattelite studying sun surface...you get the idea

oĆ why wacom? wacom is ridicully expensive...
I use an artpad from aiptek, its 99⬠and does the same

ItsK In reply to FacundoDiaz [2009-11-19 13:59:56 +0000 UTC]
yup
just google "aiptek 14000U" and U'll find it.
well wacom is surely better- but never 3 times as the price seems to say.
I tried both, noticed no diffenences in the drawing quality.
the only improvements of the wacom are a more handy pen, little higher sensity and support for 2 monitors.
let me tell u:
