Her boots freed from the troublesome roots, the wizardess spies the black length of smoking power ahead of her on the patch of grass and immediately moves for it. Her forward motion is diverted to the side by some force pulling at her throat—the black Monger’s Cape clasped about her shoulders by the silver vulture pin has snagged on something at her left flank. Disgusted by the play of the maggot-like grass against her skin, Avora surges forward, expecting that the enchanted cape will either pull free or she will yank what has snagged it loose from the garden’s earth by her own strength.

Would you look at that! Two posts again in a single day! Gotta make up for a bit of lost time here and crank these suckers out, and now that the figures to be drawn are down to just Avora and some plantlife, things are going pretty quickly from here until the last few images of the chapter.

As ever, Avora was drawn from the wonderful reference material provided by :devvviator-defessus: and the model "Ava." Awesome images to work with--while I modified the pose a tiny bit, this is pretty much what I was given, facial expression and all!
