Today's hybrid isn't partially bird for a change, this time it's a combination of common wolf and european badger. While the creature mostly resembles a wolf, its fur pattern, shorter legs and long claws are reminiscent of a badger. The name is composed of the latin word "meles" (meaning badger) and the word "wolf".

Melewolves are very social creatures, known for forming packs and living in complex underground dens, which they usually dig for themselves. Many aspects of their lives are dependant on cooperation, which is possible thanks to good communication capabilities and strong bonds between members of their communities. Like wolves, they grief after the loss of their pack members.

Melewolves aren't fast runners, but their hunting strategies allow them to direct their prey to a trap carefully set up by them. Such traps appear like a regular patch of land, but upon closer inspection one will notice that it was changed by digging, made uneven and difficult to traverse for their prey, compensating for the hunters' lack of speed.
