This is beautiful, and it's amazing that you made it out of a paint stirrer.

Thanks the sad part is that they use that good of wood to make paint stir sticks. How many like this ended up in the garbage.

I've never heard of "Rona". Is this something locally based?

It's the Canadian version of Home Depot. Except they have better wood.

I cant belive that they actually use that wood as a paint stick. damn near breaks my heart.
Epic work fixinman. Is the sword sanded to get that shine or is that a laquer?

Seven coats of water based Varathane. Polished. The bands are in the wood

I found the wood by accident> I made another out of a stick I picked up odd the floor at Rona. You should check them out, but you have to go through a lot of sticks to find one.

I might, it seems very interesting. Hmmmm. Are you up to a challenge, Mr. Johnson? Because I'd like to see you make the Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Sure, that one is nice, but I'm not particularly fond of the design that they used. Still, I want to see your version if you make it. Mine is already under construction.

Yeah, but I really hate the replicas that they sell. Mine is basically going to be almost perfect, or rather, I'm striving for it to be so.

Yeah, I saw that one. Maybe I should add Genesis's rapier onto my list, which includes the Master Sword, the Kokiri Sword, Brisingr, the Sword of Shannara, and more.
