Wow...beautiful. The one that is half-peeled is especially impressive.

Der totale Hammer! Die sehen so echt aus...
Wenn es die Skala nicht gΓ€be, wΓΌrde ich fast streiten wollen.
Am besten gefallen mir ja die (halb)abgezogenen Schalen.

I used the tuorial from Angie Scarr's "Miniature Food Masterclass" for the inner art of the bananas, the rest is not too hard

no really i just took a bit of bright yellow clay and a bit of dark yellow clay, stacked the two layers and used it to wrap around the bananas. after baking, i painted it with the thinnest brush i own and brown colour. the inner part pof the banana is textured with a toothbrush or a bit of sandpaper, that's all.

I won a premium membership and installed the skins. my membership is gone but the skins are still there.
Even if you don't have a premium membership but know a bit about html and css, you can modify the standard skin by clicking on edit skin.

THese are amazing. I showed my husband and he was like, "yeah, so why are you showing me bananas?". I told him that you made them from clay. He couldn't believe it and said they were really good.
I found the book online that you used, is it worth getting? I can't seem to find any books locally that specialize in miniature food.

Thanks a lot, from boyfriends or husbands, that means a lot
The book is definitely worth reading and trying the things, but as the title says it is really a masterclass.
If you want to get started easier, then have a look at the book 'Making Miniature Food and Market Stalls' also by Angie Scarr. This is the one I started with and it's great. You can also try 'Making Doll's House Miniatures with Polymer Clay' by Sue Heaser. The second book focuses more on furniture and accessoires while the first one contains mostly food.

I ordered both the 'Making Miniature Food and Market Stalls' and the "Miniature Food Master Class" books today online, they should be here in a few days. I am looking forward to getting them! I think I am going to start with a roombox of a farmer's market with various produce and treats!

That's a good idea. I'm sure you will like the books.
I'm currently also making a roombox of an italian restaurant. So I can mak both: raw food in the kitchen and cooked food outside

Thank you! I'm still not really satisfied with the "interior" of the banana. This time, I did not make too many slices so I can try it again without the bad conscience of still having left enough slices
