Description
For Digital Drawing class.My professor liked it, especially the process I used in painting it. Basically what I did was I started with a drawing on the bottom most layer, added monochrome values over it, then overlaid colours and added details on additional layers.
Photoshop 7 & CS3.

personally I like to work with just one layer, it really adds a lot of stress having more layers. I think it would suit you too since you normally do traditional stuff, give it a try!

I don't like working that way in Photoshop. Opacity and transparency work differently in PS than they do with traditional media.

I wouldnยดt have thought this was digitaly made if you didnยดt say it was. That should raise the commercial value of your art style (sorry for using the "s" word) quite a bit. I like that you made the face looking both human and monster as manticores are in many myths.
