Layers and masks are the most basic and well known things for advanced CG makers. Still they give a lot of trouble for people who are just getin started with using programs for digital drawings. I tried to explain in the simpliest way masks and layers here and i hope that everyone who do not know about them will understand <3tutorial for lineart can be found here

This is wonderful! I was always wondering how to make all those layers look nice! 
One teeny-weeny critique though. Under the layer section, you misspelled "different". Like I said, completely insignificant; I just thought you might like to know.
