Description
Ballpoint pen on paper. Inspired by David Dorman's work on 'Aliens: Tribes' and several different ocean life forms. I had so much fun designing these critters.[edit] Uploaded full, uncropped image.

Probably a shape changing space cat of some description. It would explain why it never learned to pay 'fetch'...

There's a good chance it might gnaw on you a bit, but only in a friendly way, if that's any comfort? Glad you like!

Aaw, it's friendly?! Then it might be okay if he eats some of my fingers from my left hand

Awww, that's so kind! He really likes fingers. They are crunchy. Toes, too. The big ones are his favourite. He's a big doofy puppy when he has toes to chew on.

lol, I knew it! Big pets always have a weak point that make them change into cute little fluffy pets (though there is no fluffy hair here XD)
I'm gonna ask a friend for toes, I'm okay to give my left fingers, but I would rather keep my toes, kind of need them for walking and such stupid things, but if he is sweet and stuff I might give him my exclusive left big toe

What kind of ballpoints did you use? How big is the original drawing?

It was just an ordinary stick biro, fine rather than medium nib. The original is A3 size. My scanner cropped it a bit.
And thanks for the fave!

Ah, back in the days when I had patience, and a really co-operative biro.
My scanner ate half of this one. I've been toying with the idea of photographing it instead, to show the full picture.

shame such a great sheen
did you manage to stock up on them before they disapeared?

Hareguizer In reply to redmingum [2007-03-16 23:35:59 +0000 UTC]
I did, but the ink sort of set in them and they were useless. Maybe that was why they were discontinued - bad shelf life?

Last I saw they were on the top of the shelf with the artist's mannequins on (the opposite side from all the art pads) in a little box near the charcoal and clutch pencils! Dead centre, more or less.

Yay! You threw me socks! *munches*
You are now my friend forevermore.
Mmmm...*koff*
Mm, yes, snorklewood. Mangly old housekey...Try dipping it in cooking oil to make it all nice and shiny, then put it in a spot where there would be lots of sunlight or maybe candlelight. Then see if the light makes it nicer.
If that doesn't work...get MORE cooking oil!!!
Or you could just...draw your key and then mess around with it in Photoshop.
Whichever way works.
*munches happily*
Mf! You should go see my "Desert Nomad and Steed". They are fun. I drew it in like, half an hour.
I suck at clothing folds.
Oh! And you should see my one picture I am actually proud of. It's called "Who's Next?" and I painted it in like, twelve hours over five days.
It sucks compared to your stuff, but I have fun doing it...it's the dragon head w/ black background.
Or you could just...ignore me, 'cause I'm insane and kind of hyper right.
SOCKS!!!

uhhh...actually...
Daemon-*storms in, holding pieces of scorched white threads* Koro, I don't suppose YOU would know who INCINERATED MY SOCKS with SELF-BURNING EVIDENCE to prevent me tracking them down by FINGERPRINT or SCENT, DO YOU??
Koro (Me)-...*Koff koff HACK* uh, could you excuse me a minute while I go have a coughing fit in the corner?
Daemon-WHY are you coughing?
Koro...*blink* (thinking: oh shhhh-)
Daemon-that wouldn't be because you happened to possibly have INHALED SMOKE in the past, say, HALF HOUR, WOULD YOU??!!
Koro-...*blink blink* *turns back to Hare* Actually, I think drawing my housekey would be (kind of, not really...) fun. It has tye-dye design. Or maybe my friend's-THEIRS has ZEBRA design. Is that not OMFG AWESOME??!! *cough* anyways, I should hope it meant something to you. After all, you DO need it to get into your house, don't you?!
Daemon-*fuming*
Koro-*nervous glance* ah...gotta go!!

Ah, you do have a point there. I'd be locked out without them. Still not seeing the inner beauty of my mangly old housekey though. Maybe if I had a tye-dye key...now that would be something worth microdrawing....
*dreams happily of pretty keys*

Daemon-Those DO exist?
Me-HA! I TOLD YOU!!! *dances stupid little victory in circles around him* I told you, I told you, I toldy-toldy-told you!
Daemon-... -.- Why did I ever team up with them...
Me- *twitch* *twitch* *spaz* *dies*
Daemon-...o.o...
