Description
. . . with a decidely Steinbeckian, Depression-era flavor.Inspired by the picture of my grandmother in the upper right.
Two years ago (has it been that long?) I began a project working with prints of my images in a more traditional sense, using the 3-Dimensionality of assemblage and collage techniques to make the leap from digital into the physical realm. Each one is an adventure, and I learn something new every time.

Thank you!
It's a steel spindle. I have no idea how it would actually work (but I like the idea that it's reversible).

You've used a great and almost refreshing word, Yvette: Steinbeckian. My first and longest-lasting love
of literature. I've always wished he'd written more books...he just couldn't write enough. As a native Californian,
you can appreciate. Monterey and Salinas: Fabulous cities.
My usual best regards: Richard

I loved that whole series with Doc. John was such a wonderful man, with
so much down-to-earth concern for his fellow man. I will never forget visiting
his childhood home in Salinas ~ his family was well off $$$
