Description Comparison shot with the New Vegas in game model on the bottom.

Worked on a bunch of painting today. Tried the faux carbon fiber technique for the first time today, and I don't know if I like it. You have to have a very light spray of silver, but with a light spray, the edges are too blurry. Also, there are waaaaaay too many curved surfaces on this thing to make it look effective. The barrel looks good, but it's not very visible in this pic. I had to use my phone to take pics. Unfortunately, I won't be getting my good camera back until Monday.

61 inches! I got my good camera back today, so tomorrow I'll be painting a couple more details and redo the barrel in satin black and take some better pics. I really wish I had more time to paint Nerf guns. I started messing with them in 2003 JUST as the N-strikes were starting to come out and at the time the only ones out were the Nite Finder and Maverick and very few people did any kind of painting, it was all about internal mods.

Thanks! I'll have better pics later next week when I get my camera back. I am also out of black rattle cans, so I have to wait to redo the black of the barrel. :/
