I wondered what the DnD Tiamat would look with the new chromatic dragons added to her classic form. So I did a quick sketch and color. I might go back and clean this up and shade it some time.Related content

Now I know why Tiamat only had till now five heads, because since her creation and for years, there were just five dragon species in the ''Chromatic Dragon'' category, LOL. While the others were renamed to sound like Chromatic Dragons, LOL. I also noticed that there are Yellow Dragons, but it seems that they are not so noticed or taken into account, LOL.
But it would be really epic to see Tiamat with those extra heads, I doubt it would ever happen, but it would be great though.Β

There are orange dragons too, but neither the yellow nor the orange dragon appeared in D&D 4e when I made this.Β I think I made game stats for this version of Tiamat once, but I don't know where they would be now.

LOL, I was wrong about the breath weapons from the GRay and Brown dragons, I read thta Gray Dragons can petrify their enemies, while the Brown Dragons can spit screaming and blinding sand that hits like a sand storm...
Oh It could be great to see Tiamat getting these dragon heads and get the power to petrify, expell blinding sand and so...

I see, well I didn't find alot about the Orange Dragon,s execpt for a very little information that say that they have Poison Breath..I only can say that these guys need more imagination for these chromatic dragons' breath weapons, because Gray and Brown ones have acid just like the Black Dragon, LOL. The yellow dragon has an interesting breath weapon, too bad there's no much about this dragon.

White - frost/cold
Purple - psychic
Gray - petrifying

Yes, but they are called grey, purple and brown dragons in 4e.

DnD 4e dosen't have yellow and orange dragons,at least not official yet. Not that would stop me, I think 8 is enough. I also liked the idea of linking Tiamat with Orochi, who had 8 heads. Thank you for the comment.

I think from what I read in the new Dracinomicon that she still has the usual five heads for the five main Chromatic Dragons.
But in this form, she makes the regular Oorochi look like a pansy. Yup, I've seen Oorochi.

Thank you. However, I wouldn't call this finished. It was just a quick sketch and color. I may still clean it up and add some real more shading/shadows when I get the time.
In 4e they added 3 "new" chromatic dragons: Brown, Purple (also called Deep), and Gray (also called Fang). So you basically got it correct. They just added them to the chromatic group in 4e, so I added them to Tiamat!
