Description Reboot Idea #44

It was a decision that tore the superhero community in half.

Bruce Wayne, new head of CHECKMATE, decided to put the young heroes of the world through a teaching program. A program he called 'Young Justice'. When Tim Drake discovered this, insulted that his years of service and training meant nothing to Bruce, he stepped down as Robin and became his own hero as a member of Teen Titans.

This left the world without a Robin.

Interested in seeing what his recently revealed son was capable of, Bruce allowed Damien Wayne to become the new Robin, and the 'poster boy' for the Young Justice program. Soon, Damien was joined by other young heroes, each sponsered by a vetran hero.

Super-Girl (backed by Super-Man) - All the powers of Super-Man. She could be a legendary hero with just a bit of training.

Impulse (backed by The Flash) - The Flash's daughter, brought into the program in hopes of teaching her pacing and focus.

Midori Doko (backed by Green Lantern) - A young, Japanese Green Lantern who personally saved Hal Jordon, but still isn't looked on by the GL Corp as a full fledged Green Lantern.

Offspring (backed by Plastic Man) - Plastic Man's son, a troublemaker who Plas hopes will learn to play it straight through the program.

Solstice (backed by Wonder Woman) - A young Indian girl who can control light itself who was saved by Wonder Woman during a natural distaster.

Secret (backed by Cyborg) - The spirit of a young girl who the Teen Titans were unable to save years ago. Her form manifested into a hero. Cyborg suggests she joins the program to 'make friends'.

Young Justice, at its heart, is a team of misfits and second choice heroes who have alot to prove...and that's exactly what they intend on doing.

Another intriguing idea and team roster. Once again not the usual bunch of heroes that would be expected, which I admire.

Awesome idea! There's really nothing else to say.

Including a junior Green Lantern though seems a bit strange to me. Aren't the new recruits supposed to be trained on Oa before they are assigned a space sector (either by themselves or as part of a team/squad of GLs)?

There has been a Green Lantern in the Titans, which was Kyle.

*Giggles* Well, if anyone could make the Impulse bareets (barets? Barretts? I dunno), its you.

Though, in the meantime, we DO have that awesome Young Justice cartoon.
