20" x 30" oil on board..
You guys know me - I like my Vaders. So when I get a job brief that calls for "Vader standing in front of some Stormtroopers" my brain responds with "Vader leading an entire army of Stormtroopers in the most intimidating way you can think of but with a pretty sunrise. In oil paint." And then the following two weeks are the best kind of hell to get it done! For FFG's Star Wars: Destiny card game.

Being there for opening day for the first Star Wars, I can tell you (and perhaps people were different then) no one was thinking political allusions. Just "fun".Β Political crap is usually overlaid on things after the fact... some folks try to overlay politics on everything.

Thank you! Yes there is another light source in front of them. The intention was that it's the sun's light reflected off a building in front of them.
