Description
Click for 1024 pxl view, download for full. Here is a sweet lesson after realizing that linear point lights (only in Daz Studio 4) were limited to only about a block in a neighborhood, and couldn't be used as a sun. This is basically a "cheat" to give us a realistic sun, in which will give us realistic shadow casting direction (if rendering a very large city, you'll notice the shadows will go outward from the center instead of straight).
Here is the render result of this lesson!
Enjoy!

Great idea! Might use it to parent linear point lights to skydomes that have suns displayed on them! Would save me the trouble of aligning the light and the sun disc ever again!

lol... well when I explain things to people in open comment or a tut, I auto assume people that aren't advanced in DS will be looking at them too, so I always explain like I'm explaining to a newbie And thanks, friend!

Thanks so much, buddy! While I was doing the lesson, I thought, "well hmm, I'm not gonna see where the sun rotates and that's too much time to have to guest where it's going and spot render each time I rotate it." and the idea of something visual came to my head lol.
