I get a lot of questions about how I get my lineart to come out looking so professional looking. As promised, I finally got around to doing a tutorial on how I ink. =3 It's not the most complicated way to do lineart in the world, but it works for me. <33
I'm so terrible at explaining things, so if there's any confusion on anything, just let me know. ;3 I'd be more than glad to clear it up. Hopefully it helps though. <33Finished picture used in this tutorial:

Geez, by now I expected everyone to have CS2 and all that expensive crap. It's nice to see another 5.0 user...I usually work with SAI although lately it's been acting up and I was thinking of going back to Photoshop. I think my problem is that I do my lineart in short strokes rather than long strokes. But this looks promising, I think I'll try your method on my next picture and see how it works for me

Same here! xD Elements 5.0 has everything I need though to make pretty arts and I think it's a lot easier to understand myself! xD But that's great to hear! Hope it helps lots. <3

Yup. ;3 I use a wacom intuos 12x9" tablet.

hehe i need a tablet soooooooo bad! ugh its so frustrating it like " ok i will draw a straight line, darn, ok undo and now straight line, darn, again! " lol I really Love your art! Its very inspirational!

Lol! I know. Before I got a tablet, I remember using the line tool to make lineart.
