And the strange thing about the Predator is the fact that, even though he's a badass alien soldier trained to be a perfect hunting machine, he will not see you if you're covered in mud even if you're just two meters away from him.

Seeing how bad his sight was I am not surprised. I would rather say it's exceptional that he was such a great hunter with such shitty eyesight, and very crude support provided by the mask.

That's a good point, but they also rely heavily on technology, so maybe their great advantage is their intelligence to make weapons, tools and devices.

Definitely a classic monster! You capture its face remarkably well, as if it was always your natural style. You capture the intimidation and power very well too!
I like to think that Robert E. Howard would love this movie, and Lovecraft would love Alien. XP
