What better way to start off the new year than by trying to help others. ^^A kinda quick tutorial on how i make my comics. Since i can't tone to save my life and really like the look of colored comics i chose to do all my stories in this format. If anything is unclear feel free to drop a comment below and i can always expand on what i have written.

Even though I don't have the programs you specified, I'm just curious: What tools do you use to fill in the highlights and add the bubbles and speech bubbles? Many thanks if you can answer these questions.

For the highlights i used the default brush in PS set to the color white. I also lower the opacity of the white so that it will blend in with the picture. The bubbles were made with a custome PS brush i downloaded form DA. The speech bubble were made using a cicle shape and the bubble tail was made with the traingle shape tool. Hope that cleared things up. ^_^
