The girl that stole my heart last year at WolfPark, Dharma, had puppies this year. Six puppies born on April the 6th. A fortuitous date apparently, as they were not quite sure exactly how many she had when first seeing them appear. Today I spent time with all six of said puppies who are now nine weeks old.

I was treated to quite interested animals almost as soon as I sat down on the grass. Several noses, teeth, and paws were more than happy to investigate this new creature in their space for about ten minutes. Then, I was boring. LOL. They went back to doing what puppies do. Though, I did get to see their version of a rally howl.

They were wonderful. A unique experience, and one I will not soon forget no matter how many times I return.
