Stubbins is just eagerly waiting for Hester to feed him again. Honestly, Hester is just happy she won't have to run into Amos anytime soon after she gave him that major butt-whupping (though he'll probably go out of his way to avoid her for a while). New location next week! We're also almost halfway through the chapter, and I am seriously considering bi-weekly updates (Monday and Friday) so we can wrap it up faster once I finish the Volume 1 Interlude--it's only three pages so it shouldn't take that long to complete. Let me know if I should do it! There also won't be a new update for Haddock & Isolde this Monday because of my busy weekend (see below). I'm going to try to finish two more chapters in the meantime so I can get back to having a nice lil' buffer.
I'm going to be helping out at the 45th Annual Annie Awards on Saturday, which is like the Oscars for animation! I'll try to get some pictures while there (which will most likely be posted on my IG acount), and maybe some other LA sightseeing stuff with my sis while we're hanging out for the day since the awards show isn't until the evening. Prayers for safe travels are much appreciated!

How wonderful, it's like all her dreams came true at once (though I expect the skipping school part was the most thrilling news out of the lot), I like how you handled all her questions in connected speech bubbles, it really does appear like rapid fire. And no one wants to clean up vomit, let alone animal vomit.
Have fun at the Annies, I bet you'll be seeing some amazing work there

I know I was always glad to skip school whenever possible! (Freshman/Sophomore years were full of appointments for fun things like braces and TMJ)
Thanks! I've been playing around with speech bubbles and their placement for this chapter a lot, though I still haven't gotten around to writing out the sound effects noises--hopefully once the action picks up those can be incorporated.
Yeahhhh, hairballs are some of the nastiest things I've had to wipe up...
Welp, I was backstage for half of the time, so I didn't get to see the first half of the show--though I got to see some of the presenters and winners up close by the photo room
