I think you make this WAY harder than i needs to be, but you are in the club, I'm not, I'm not going to argue, because apparently you're doing it right.

I don't really use Ponyscape because of my own personal limitations (the vector has to be displayable on mobile devices without a malformedXML error) and because I think it sucks at doing its job efficiently, so I have to find ways around said limitations.
