Description
No especial reason why blue is the scientist, I just wanted to keep continuity with my previous models.Terry Nation created the Daleks.

Deliberate recolouring - I dislike the orange they used for the Scientists in the actual NDP, so I shuffled the colours around and made the Drones grey, the Strategists red, the Scientists blue etc. Not a mistake, a deliberate change - like the design itself.

They suffered an instant repaint due to my dislike of orange as a Dalek colour.

Blue makes the most sense to me for the 'scientist' caste (I don't know if that's because I've watched too much Star Trek or what). I guess also a lot of us are conditioned into seeing blue as representing calmness, rationality, peacefulness and so on, and while a Dalek is of course essentially nasty, perhaps blue makes seems to make sense for the scientists because those qualities are 'less agressive' perhaps, and we expect them from human scientists?
