I haven't been around for a while as I have been working on some other projects.This is another piece where the small thumbnail won't bring out any of the detail.
Anyway, this piece came about when I was just tinkering around with poser one evening. One thing led to another and... .The character is supposed to be a representative of a people that live in a frozen lands.
The skin texture is a mix of leopard and zebra patterns. I like the overall effect. Enjoy!

The lighting kicks it. The texture is different looking. The combination is a really alien blending. Very cool and just kick-ass work. The lighting kicks butt big-time,btw. It's so nice, I had to mention it twice! ^__^

Tinkering was only the start. At some point I decided it was going to work and that was when the real work started. I have sooooooo many "failed" starts sitting on my hard drive that it is just depressing sometimes. This one wasn't working either until I tried playing with the skin texture and then it just blew my mind and had to be completed.

I think things are going to be slow from now on. It is kinda nice in a way. I have decided to sit back any really focus strongly on the few pieces I do complete. Hopefully it will show in the stuff I post further down the road.
