I haven't been around for a while as I have been working on some other projects.This is another piece where the small thumbnail won't bring out any of the detail.
Anyway, this piece came about when I was just tinkering around with poser one evening. One thing led to another and... .The character is supposed to be a representative of a people that live in a frozen lands.
The skin texture is a mix of leopard and zebra patterns. I like the overall effect. Enjoy!

Thanks! No, I do not work for Square. (Although, I am quite surprised how often I get that question... ) As for the tools, most are free or there are free equivalents out there. I could have just as easily used DAZ Studio, Poseray, and Povray to do this piece. Everyone of those items is free.

I don't know if there is a decent tutorial. The really devious secret is that almost all of my dynamic cloth work it built up of nothing more than simple cloth squares. The veil is composed of three pieces all attached at the corner in the same place on the pauldron. The actual cloth piece is a 75x75 grid square I made in 3DSMax years ago. It has served me well.

i just found a few more or less decent ones at 'rosity, enough to get a vague idea and start playing with parameters... First two tries naturally turned out to be a complete disaster. ^_^

I shouldn't laugh, but my first attempts with the cloth room were pretty painful as well. 
I was eventually reduced to simulating cloth falling over spheres until I could start to figure things out.
I have learned many things since then.
