Description
This is a resubmission, my apologies if you have seen it before.This is Orbbject, it is a 30 foot diameter Geodesic Dome I designed and built for Burning Man 2004.
It is not a traditional Geodesic dome this one is a very unique design.

Great job on the design. I've designed a couple of traditional Geodesic Domes before and know the troubles you can come up against. This looks fantastic, it has almost a "Mad Max" feel to it. The photograph is really good as well.

You know you can edit the deviation and submit a new picture that way too...
I read your story about this piece a long while back... Must say... I was a teensy bit jealous of all the materials you got for it! But you did a great job on it. Looks really nice!

I knew about editing the pic and description but the whole thing was a mess even the comments (they turned into an off topic conversation).
The thing that sucks about all that material, it has a zinc cadmium coating, which messes up my welds if I don't grind it off first. I also have to wear a special respirator under my welding helmet. It sucks to work with, but it was free ; )
