A Flash Animation Tutorial for people who have never used Macromedia Flash before and totally drown in the technicalitiesof all those tutorials online.
I hope it will be useful... I'm often a bit chaotic when it comes to explaining things ^_^;

I'm thinking about trying Flash, but can you tell me does all the art have to be done in flash or can you do the art in photoshop and import it?

Here's a little question: I used one graphic for one layer for one frame. When I make a new frame of the same layer but I use a different graphic, the same graphic I used for the last frame shows up instead. What did I do wrong?

Scene 1, Layer 'button', Frame 115, Line 1 1086: Syntax error: expecting semicolon before leftbrace.

This tutorial is quite simply fabulous. I started off with flash only having figured out how to use the deco tool. I tried to follow various tutorials on youtube, and even though they said they were aimed at people new to flash, they were confusing and hard to follow.
Your tutorial is wonderful. It explains things in a simple and easy to follow manner. You describe everything step by step and go into just the right amount of detail. By the time I'd created a nice little waving panda, I now manage to find my way around flash rather well.
In fact, you taught me more than my teacher at college has!!!
I recomended your tutorial to a friend who is also on my course and rather daunted by flash.
