I tried both programs and modo, lightwave and all the other great packages...
But i will stick with Cinema4D.

No my first renders are not on DA. Maybe I will upload them some day...
I am planing a "remake" of one of my old renders in the next future...

I never heared of Cinema4D,whats that for program?
And yeah it`s great to create a seperate file for your first work in your brows,so people can see how you`ve growed.
I have it too,but heeeyyy i am just a beginner,hahahaha still have soooo much to learn!!
Thats so ineteresting with 3D,it never stops,you always discover some new trics,and it`s never getting bored!!!
Really something for me!!hahahahahahahahahaha

Just for your information, I got this texture days before the release of DTG-Felix. My first render with this texture is here: [link] . So that cannot be! By the way it is a M4 based mesh.

I think they differ in nothing.
Just in the fact that I know how to handle C4D.
With the right technique you can get stunning results no matter what render engine you are using...

it's very good. but for some reason i think the anatomy is off in the uper torso he isnt... tall enough.
im not sure braided hair is doing the na vi's good looks justic.
other then that i think its great

You are shure right. It was a challenge to get a human 3d mesh this close to the na'vis anatomical features. I will keep that in mind for the female version I am working on. Thanks. I am glad you like it.

No but really this picture is amazing! The only thing is that the tip of their tail is black. But other than it's awesome! Or maybe an Avatar it's blue, I thought it was black though... Hmmm...

Fantastic work there, the only thing i can comment on "critically" is on the skin colour/Stripes; they seem more obvious than they should be compared to the actual Avatars from the movie. i would think that the stripes would be a little more faded or perhaps blended into the other natural skin colour.

Besides that, Fantastic work. I'm also working on 3D imagery too but I'm not very skilled in the texturing side... yet
