WOW! Thank you for this DD! I feel honored.



Alexander is ready to cast his first magic spell (on you!).

Thank you all for your great feedback and suggestions.
This helped a lot getting Alexander this realistic!

Rendered in Maxon Cinema4D R11.5 using GI and a very complex light- and reflection-system of my own. Alexander is M4 based with mayor improvements on the textures.
I am using my own skin shader and my own shader extensions for the eyes. The mesh is hypersmoothed and optimized. The curtain is modeled using hypernurbs to.

The spell is created using light sources combined with fractal shaders... My first own magic spell!

Danke! Alexander is nur die Charakter-Studie fΓΌr die Eigentliche Szene.
Irgendwas magisches wirds wohl werden. Ein Flasschengeist oder ein Zauberer... So was in der Richtung...
Aber ich wollte erst den Charakter so gut wie mΓΆglich haben bevor ich mich auf Kleidung, Umgebung etc stΓΌrze...

Das ist natΓΌrlich auch ein in C4D aufgebohrtes Poser-Modell und extrem ΓΌberarbeitete Texturen....
Vom Lichtsystem mit HDRI, Global Illumination und AmbientOcclusion im Multirender-Verfahren kaum zu reden...

Alexander ist just the finale character for a more complex scene of him as a magican in the near future...
I just wantet to get him as realistic as possible in 3D...

Thank you so much! I used Cinema4D to render it. Its a complex light and relfection system and this are not the standard texture maps for those models. There are highly improoved...
