Description
This is NOT the official Power Rangers Operation Overdrive line-up. This is my own version of it. Please read the following journal if you are not familiar with my "ReImagining the Power Rangers" concept : [link]DO NOT use without my explicit permission first.
Season 15 : Operation Overdrive 2007
Operation Overdrive, a group of explorers, adventurers and archaeologist working for one purpose : finding and protecting the jewels of the “Corona Aurora” an item of Power. Andrew Hartford is the one responsible for gathering this team together. He intended to hire four young adults full of energy and join them on the team but things didn't go as planned. First Dax Lo, the one who was suppose to become the blue ranger was a no show, he got a great opportunity for his job and never came to Andrew's meeting. Mr. Hartford decided to give his daughter the blue morpher instead. The second mishap was when he gave Rose Ortiz her morpher, he gave her the red one by mistake, he intended to keep it for him. Once a morpher has been activated, unless its carrier dies there is no way to transfer the powers. Finally, Mack, Andrew's son, stole the last morpher and decided to join the team against his father will.

During their second mission, the rangers meet Kimberly Hart. She was exploring the same underwater caves as the Operation Overdrive and her knowledge of the sea helped them a lot. She accompanied them to the base and met Mr Hartford. A strong connection started between the two, this connection would only grow in strength with time. Kim stayed as a guest in the manor and helped by working with Andrew and Spencer at Ranger Ops.
The Ranger fought many enemies and they even battled against future allies, like Vala. They mistook her for one of Moltor's monster because her body had been transformed. In the end the truth shone and Vala joined the Rangers as the Mercury Operation Overdrive Ranger. Her alien abilities would help the Rangers in many situations. Vala didn't bring only good things, she also brought a new pair of villains in the battle, the Fear Cats. Two strong warriors, the same ones that trapped her fiancé Tyzonn in a cave many years ago. With Vala's addition, the team was finally complete :
- Rose Ortiz, Red Overdrive Ranger, Leader, Invisibility powers.
- Will Aston, Black Overdrive Ranger, Enhanced 5 senses, also provides hims with a heightened sense of balance.
- Mack Hartford, Green Overdrive Ranger, Cyborg that doesn't know his condition, Super strenght
- Ronnie Robinson, Yellow Overdrive Ranger, Super speed and reflexes.
- Jenny Hartford, Blue Overdrive Ranger, Cyborg that knows her condition, Mack's older sister, Super Jump.
- Vala, Mercury Overdrive Ranger, an alien, a Mercurian, has the ability to turn herself into sentient mercury.

When the rangers where defeated by Thrax (Lord Zedd's son), the Sentinel Knight asked Kimberly to call some old friends to take the job of protecting the Corona Aurora. A new group was formed temporarily :
Tommy Oliver, Black Dino Thunder Ranger (Leader of the group and operating the Flashpoint Megazord)
Billy Cranston, Blue Ninja Ranger
Adam Park, Green Lightspeed Rescue Ranger
Trini Cranston Kwan Orange Wild Force Ranger
Kimmy Cranston, Red SPD Ranger
Vidal Rocca, Pink Mystic Force Ranger
Kimmy was contacted by Tommy, he remembered her team's adventure in our time. Somehow the SPD Licence didn't work on his brain and his memories remained. He also had some time to understand she was the daughter of his two friends. He swore to keep the secret if she came to help him. On her side, Kimmy contacted the Tommy from her time and check with him if the story was true, he confirmed it and said for him it was all in the past and she already helped them save Earth, so she agreed to come back in time and help the Rangers. Billy was very happy to come back to the manor, he was one of the two people who helped Andrew build his kids (the other being Hayley) and he was ecstatic to see them work so smoothly. But of course couldn't talk about it in public because Mack's and Jenny's condition was still a secret, even to Mack.

When the Green Ranger discovered his true nature, he rebelled against his father and his sister, he wouldn't listen to them and even went A.W.O.L. for a time. Kimberly was the only one able to connect with him, she explained to him how her motherly feelings toward him and his sister had not changed at all. Even though they were Androids she didn't love them less. It cheered him up and Mack decided to continue his work as a Ranger.
While the preparations for Andrew and Kim's Wedding are almost over, a final showdown between Operation Overdrive and the three enemies arise, The adventures of the Power Rangers come to an end with the death of Kamdor, Moltor and Flurious. The Corona and it's jewels are finally safe, the Sentinel Knight recover his power and the Ranger finally have some time to rest without any imminent threats to the world.

Good lineup for "Once A Ranger," but instead of S.P.D. Red and Mytic Force Pink, I would have chosen Jason's Devil Ranger and Kat's S.P.D. form.

Your choices are also interesting but Jason's Crimson Devil being based on the Phantom Ranger (White Phantom in my universe) and this character being himself based on the VRV Master who is only a one time character in CarRanger and not really a ranger, I don't think it would have its place on this team. I used my SPD Red ranger because I wanted another couple of episodes to show her ELITE training. During the course of her own series, we don't see her like that only with her standard uniform. The only other time we see her with this transformation is during "Forever Red" but at the time, nobody knows who she is, well, only Wes who recruited her and the others who are from the future (from Wild Force's point of view).
As for Mystic Force Pink, well I wanted to keep a magician, but I felt like two female members where enough for the veteran team, that and I really like this character I have created. Even if I myself don't like pink and neither does he, I like to torture him and I felt like using him again would be torture enough.

Guess that makes sense, we already have RPM made up of veteran rangers. Although, I thought it would be cool to see Tommy, Jason, and Adam team up. But I have another question: what's with the lack of blue in Zeo, Turbo, and In Space. Yeah, I know for Zeo Billy has a blue suit, but he's still the sixth ranger so I don't count him. It just feels a bit odd to have black replace blue. Also, isn't it a bit "risky" to make TJ the black ranger all thre seasons? And another thing, you bring back Trini and ason, but why not Zack? Is he just your least favorite character or something?

Lack of Blue in Zeo, Turbo and In Space : As I have explained on other seasons (in my replies to comments) :
"I changed the colors for Billy, because for me, Billy will always be the Blue Rangers, as long as Zordon is the one providing the powers."
"Billy's transformation is still called the Gold Ranger. He's blue simply because in the way I conceived my universe, Billy will always be blue as long as Zordon is providing the powers. Blue is Billy' true colour. So the base costume of the Gold Ranger is blue, yes, but he's still called the "Gold Zeo Ranger"."
"In my mind, Billy is the true blue ranger, as long as Zordon is the origin of the powers and the mentor of the rangers, Billy will remain the only blue Ranger. If Billy is not part of the team for a reason or another, then there is no blue ranger. This is how I have decided to built my Reimagining of the MMPR universe.
The color blue will make a come back in season 7. Up until season 6 (In space) Zordon is the one who gives the Power Rangers their powers. Starting season 7, it's going to change."
TJ being the black ranger : I don't assign colours to my characters based on the colour of their skin, or their origins. If I did, Zack and TJ would be "Brown Rangers"
Binging Trini and Jason back but not Zack : Yes from the first six power rangers Zack is my least favourite. I like him, but there are other characters that I like better.

I didn't think PROO was lame, but those lazy disney bastard make those seasons too small by putting two monsters or so in an episode and stuff! Cheap and lazy!
