Description
Panel 1 - Ahh! I worked so hard on this edit and it just crashes MMD! I'm giving up on this edit..."Don't give up yet I will show you how to fix this"
Panel 2 - First lets check the bones, well the bones look good lets check on the other things.
Panel 3 - Well that's a problem.
Panel 4 - When you are done getting all the physics selected press "Edit" -> "Selected(O)" -> "Del Bone/Physic/Joint Del"
Side note - Un-needed physics may not crash MMD but it does mess up the model while dancing. Like making the skirt spazz even more then it started with.
Panel 5 - God this will take years to clean!
"No not really"
Panel 6 - Go to the joint tab.
You see alot of the un-needed joints have the same ending. ( Like a repeat like Joint A --> AAAAA --> AAAAA in most cases they will be attached to the same thing or even left blank)
Well those are the ones you need to remove.
A easy way to do it is by clicking the last joint on the list and going to your "Delete" key on your keyboard then just click "OK".
Side note - Make sure to keep an eye on what your deleting because you may remove some important joints. Oh yeah another thing if you have alot of un-connected joints it may make PMDE not work right.
Panel 7 8 - Now she's clean and the model doesn't crash MMD~!
Side note - If you can't find all the un-needed joints and physics, you are better off just restarting the model and making sure each part it cleaned before you add it to the base your using.
This is not the case for all crashes of MMD. Sometimes it's bones which I can't really help you on that.
If none of this works/helps start the model over. That's all I can say/do to help anyone if they are still having problems with the model, sorry.
Also read the comments.

IF anyone is still having trouble, try to see if everything you added to the base is parented to the right bones and weighted correctly.
Parenting incorrectly tends to crash MMD.

How my Friend sort of Fixed it... She Deleted all Of the Body's and JointsxPhysics
It Now uploads without Crashing, But my Model has no Physics Only Bones.
Then i Redid the Physics in the Hair. now it uploads Perfectly

If you worked on a model create by another and edited it by changing its clothes then all you have to do is delete everything (bones, joints and body) except for the character then save it. Open the original and then open the edited version with no bones, joints, or body (body meaning the parts controlling it aside from the model) over it. Then simply remove all the parts from the original and there you go. Won't crash anymore.

might be late, but you might be missing the Motherbone (the one that moves the entire model)
If a model doesn't have a motherbone, MMD will crash.

;v; This helps, Although mine is impossible to be fixed because SOMEHOW, I added something that added an invisible base with hair joints and stuff. xD It was horrible. The legs were overlapping when I opened physics. It works fine if I don't remove anything but if I try to remove the physics and joints mmd will crash. ( I'm trying to get rid of some hair that is sticking out awkwardly. ;-; )

Ok. I clean every piece I use before I put it on the model.
What I did learn is that the original model had TWO sets of the same outfit and runs just fine.
I'm using this same model, but changed the hair out and did heavy recolor and cut the bottom of the coat.
It crashes MMD and when I take out what I know is the double up... The Jacket lifts up and stays in place right around and behind my model.

MMD3DCGParts In reply to Captain-Espana [2015-09-06 10:44:16 +0000 UTC]
Well the best thing I can say is start the model over and save the model in stages so you can find what is making your model mess up.
Or remove all joints and physics after that you could redo the joints and physics by hand.

1. Remove all joints and physics from model and make your own.
2. Redo the model and make sure you clean the model (remove all un-needed joints, physics and bones)

Well i'm not really sure whats going on. Since I never heard MMD crashing because of changing the physics grouping.
But it's mostly best if you start over and clean up the parts (and grouping them ahead of time) after that throw it onto your base and fix it up again.
Also make sure to save things in stages like Baseclothes.pmd Baseclotheshair.pmd things like that and keep the parts that's already separated (like hair, clothes, belt, ect) just in case you run into any errors.

MMD3DCGParts In reply to Jun-Himekawa [2015-05-30 19:42:58 +0000 UTC]
It could be from a few things.
Too many un-needed bones.
Too many un-used groups (in PMDE it's called "GRP" which again if you have English version of PMDE then you will see a box on the left corner called "Bone" You will mostly find things like "IK" and so on. All you have to do is look for the ones that are empty and don't deleted the ones that have things in them because it may break your model even more)
Or your computer can't handle it.
If it's a edit re-find the part and restart the model making sure everything is clean.

Well then. I guess don't use the model until you get a better computer that can handle better graphics.
Or just start new and make sure everything is clean.

Sounds like a rigging problem.
Re-start the model and make sure everything is is cleaned. As in no extra bones, joints and physic.

Her hair is too big, I believe. too many joints physics and bones. other bones like to attach to it. I'm assuming the original author of the hair made some of the hair bones attach to the leg by accident.

MMD3DCGParts In reply to Sekhmet-Ra-Ptah [2015-05-16 23:23:58 +0000 UTC]
Hairs to big just edit it with PMDE to shrink to whatever needed size.
The only way to fix your model is to re-find every part you used on said model and fix all the parts before adding them to the base.
It's really a must for edited models, no matter what.
Too many un-needed bones can sometimes make bones re-attach themselves onto other things.
