I'd love to have this as a tattoo... that's how much I love it. At least of just the seal... Though you do a wonderful job at getting the movement of the water!

If I ever wished to use this, would you grant permission for me to use it (or the seal part, at least) as a tattoo?

I allow people to get tattoos of my work, but not to give them. Meaning, if you want one, no problem. Take the artwork in to your tattoo artist and talk to them about it.
If you are a tattoo artist, however, you are not to use my work as an option. If you want to use my work as a tattoo design, I must be paid to license it.
This may sound a bit confusing, but basically, if a person wants my work on their body, I say GO FOR IT! I just do not want a tattoo artist using my work in their design books or as a stock design offered up to the general public.

I've never seen a celtic-knotwork seal before, so this is very cool. Reminds me of the old Irish legends of selkies. Awesome art!
