Fire was dicovered at the seashore village probably around 265 Million + 9,950 Years PE.

The first one to dicover fire was a very... impulsive social gravedigger. During an especially wild thunderstom, he took a stick, held it into fire created by the lightning, and ignited it, thus making the very first torch- at least the very first one of their civilisation.

You can see that his friend is shocked and wants him to stay away from the dangerous fire.

In the end the impuslive innovator could convince everyone that torches are usefull, although proper handling is required.
It took a them while to learn how to not only use preexisting fire, but to make it yourself.
