"A Dangerous Meeting"
Software used: Poser Pro & Photoshop CS3
This is my first official deviation to deviantART! Normally I don't do photo manipulations as I am more of the 3D type, but I loaded some magnificent stock (credited below) into Photoshop along with other elements I had rendered and one thing led to another. Quite a bit of editing ensued, days of tweaking went by, effects thrown in for good measure, and now I have arrived at this conclusion ultimately. The model was much more beautiful before I got a hold of her, but what are you gonna do?
There are some things I would like to change, but I have reached the age old point of no return and must call it quits on this piece. If there is a positive reaction and high demand for this piece to be available as a print, I might entertain the thought and make it available. I'd like to thank the fantastic stock providers for their superb contributions to the users here as this would not exist without their kind generosity. I hope you enjoy this and stay tuned for other works in different mediums from me!

love the castle in the background and the lightening!! this really looks amazing man!! I'm surprised I didn't notice this one before!!Plus your color choices for her clothing/hair and eyes all give the picture a nice flow (not that I know shit about colors) but these really work!!

I work on a CRT monitor still and went to someone's house who has a newer LCD monitor and I noticed my entire gallery is way too bright. Everything looks great here but it's really harsh on LCD's much to my dismay. I had fun with this one and it kind of fell together, but it failed to win a contest out of six winning slots (much to my dismay again). I had to throw the purple in there for contrast as everything has a blue hue to it, but it is what it is I suppose. Thanks for the comment and the

Thank you very much! Those are my favorites colors and I tried to keep the palette within a limited range to give it a nice mood. That was my first and last photo manip ever.

I'm off into the world of digital painting now and that is pretty much where my sights are aimed. I'm not even doing 3D stuff anymore, either. I guess it's time for a big change! Hehe!

Man, I wish I could afford four beers right now or I'd go get some! Hehe! Usually I'd leave a 14 paragraph response here and go on and on about much about nothing...especially when a new deviant comes along I have met yet. But, I'm feeling rather humbled and crummy and I don't think I'll be uploading anything for quite a long time. I'm really glad you liked, and those little demons are some good eatin' really. I wish I had more pep in my step tonight, but I'm feeling rather gutted. Thanks for the very nice comment.

Now I will keep this one short...lol. I wrote a book just a few moments ago...but for relevance here...I too can go on forever...rambling about nothing...it's what I like. I'm a trucker now...have been for 7 1/2 years...and not by choice I promise. I'm Mart D Chandler formerly of Elfwood and 9 year veteran in the fire fighting industry. My wife is at home now...and I am out on the road for weeks at a time ... sometimes two months...I like girls...females...women...but not to physically touch them...lol....wives can find that stuff out...lol. You know you are one of the first..."ONE OF THEM" to actually have a meaningful conversation even if it is about nothing...and I'll tell you what...I feel better for it...not just a quick...nice or just a thanks for the add routine...

I'm not really big on the one word comments and I suppose some do it simply to stamp their presence. Similar to a dog pissing on a tree I guess, but to each his own I say. My only real social outlet is here on DA anymore and as sad as that really seems, at least it's a subject that is of interest to me instead of talking about sports I could care less about with friends. I only watch NFL and have no clue about anything else.

I really had fun with this one but it took me a long time to try to blend everything together and make it somewhat believable! I think the little demons made the scene personally, but it was quite an interesting experience all around! I actually have a new one going up after over two weeks...hopefully you will like that, too!

Sincerely, the little demons were the feature I liked less... I don't know why - even when they fit so perfectly on the scene.

The little minions did all the work actually! I just kept them fed and happy and let them take it over! LOL! I must say that photo manipulations take a lot of work and much more than my usual all 3D scenes! A week probably went by just tweaking everything about 20 times alone and trying to get the lighting the best I could before finally giving up. I thank you so much for the nice comment and the

I am really super glad you like it, and honored as well! Your stock images are just amazing and I was very hesitant to even cut anything out...but the demons made me do it, what can I say? LOL! I will try more manipies int he future, but honestly this was more work than some of my more elaborate 3D scene....but I learned a lot in Photoshop in the process! My pleasure, manips are often a time consuming process, but usually well worth the effort. I have lots more manips in my head, I just need to commit them to Photoshop, (inspired now by demons).

Well, to be politically correct, I like to call them minions instead of demons cause they might not be evil, just little conjured guys hangin' out. Demons sound more fun though. I guess it depends on the eye of the viewer which side of the ball park they play on. You are right about the effort...I think I had about 67 layers going on in this one and naming each one is a definite must. I have more 3D stuff to upload, but I can't help myself from playing in your great gallery and fishing out another goodie to work on in the near future! The quality and content is just fantastic and there is nothing like that in my area worth taking a picture of! Hehehe!

The secret is...take loads and loads of pictures, then one or two of them are bound to turn out well (by the law of averages)
