I am in the process of transferring older works from another place to DA and this is one I did almost four years ago. What?! Four years ago? Yup, four years ago! I'm setting a limit as to what I'm uploading from the old batch, but everything is completely reworked just shy of redoing the entire scene. For those who have seen this already, please bare with me! I probably should have uploaded the older stuff first and then went on with the new stuff, but since I am updating them all, it takes me some time to fix them up a bit.
I realize the angel here has some very skimpy clothes on here and this is unusual for me, but who says angels wear clothes anyway? My style hasn't changed all that much in the years I've been doing this, but I do have some new stuff on the way here shortly. Also, I haven't been listing credits like a bad boy, but I'd like to mention that the horns were made by our very own ~UweG ! Stop by and check out his great gallery and say Hi! I was originally going to do little write ups for them all, but I think it depends on my mood at the time! Everything else was done and ready to post and I just typed that in the box at the last second...I guess you could say I had a revelation.

You know, it took me a few days to figure out, but some of this older stuff was done back in the good old days. That was a time and place that had great feedback and a sense of community and support and friendships that seemed to last forever. What the hell happened to those days and that place anyway?

Oh I do, trust me, I got burned early on over there by one little clique. And some of it carried over here too. That same little clique is over here. There were people here early on that commented or faved my work, and stopped shortly after getting involved with that little clique. And now it's happening with yet another person, slowly but surely. Screw it. I simply stopped looking at their work, commenting, etc. I'm here to learn, to grow, to push my limits and keep pushing them. I create images because I enjoy it, because it's a passion for me, and the hell with the pettiness, the drama and the games. Trust me, I know.

Another eye candy from you! Probably not your best, but equally interesting. Her pose and expression are what really makes the scene, I think. The light beams emanating from the angel are really well done and those two frightened devils are my favorite parts, I guess - they look like she really smites them with her power.

Yes, I suppose there is a bit of smiting action going on here and by the smirk on her face it's not a very monumental task! You are right that this is just one of those scenes I did and the good stuff is coming soon! I just wanted this in my gallery for the sake of being complete! I like this - I love the way there are shafts of light emanating from the angel. I also like the way she pops out of the environment, so to speak - it's not that she doesn't fit in, but she stands out in a way that the demons don't and that's good.

So you make these models from scratch?
I have two things to say: her hips are very thin considering how large her chest is (her actual ribcage, though she has rather large breasts too) and also, I think her feet may be a little bit small.
I love the posing of the demon-fauns btw.

No, these props in particular aren't mine. I usually create lamps, podiums, and little errata like that. I have some where I modeled everything, but it's still fairly basic and I let the textures carry most of the detail. It just depends on what I need or what I'm looking for and what I have available. Regarding the girl's morphs, yeah...they are very super heroine-like and not very real world proportions at all. Although, small hips and feet and large breasts do seem appealing!

I really am slow like a turtle with posting stuff and I've always been that way. With all the older ones I have to go yet, I can't help but feel I'm spamming and I don't want to irritate anyone with a barrage of older stuff. I have a couple a new ones I'm working on, but mostly I'm learning digital painting in my spare time! That is really difficult, but I find it more rewarding in the end.
