My concept here was the Queen of the Sun reigning in her temple, built by her worshipers, to oversee all matters pertaining to the mysterious glowing ball of light in the sky that grew the crops and provided life and health to all creatures. It's not an easy job, but somebody has to do it! This is one of my older 'blockbuster' scenes that took forever to put together and almost melted my computer in the process.
There was over 300 billion polygons, 22 lights total, custom materials galore, and way more render time than I care to admit. To this day, it's still one of my favorites because I love the setting and shows what patience can produce. I have been busy working on my next project which should be massive in scope, so I figured I would throw this one up in the meantime cause it will take me awhile to finish. Hard work, patience, and time for the win I say. I hope you enjoy this madness as a good portion of my life was exhausted creating it! Stay tuned for MOAR coming soon!

Excelllent piece is almost every aspect. Love the water effect, the architecture and the natural background. Something that could be better is the fire coming from the torches, but it's a minor detail compared to all the great aspects this render has.

I actually reworked the fire on those braziers before uploading it, but instead of changing them completely I did an additive effect. I suppose I could re-evaluate it again when I have time and just do them over from scratch. The original really didn't have the look I was going for! Thanks for the nice comment and the visit!

Those ancient columns, that blured sky and that water makes me feel fresh and powerful.I don't know why,but it does As all of your works, this one also expresses many things. Stories with many different endings. Anyway.my eyes are on all details but especially that water...it voices me a lot...great work...

Well, thanks so much for your beautiful comment. I believe you know English better than I do and I'm amazed every time! You really do have an eye for details as is evident in your beautiful images and a bright imagination, as well! Thanks again!

Ah, the power of symmetry! Wonderfully composed image with - once again - stunning attention to detail. I think it's going to be my personal favorite in your gallery.

That definitely describes my brain in one word; symmetrical! I try and try and no matter what I do, things always seem to come out that way. I have been paying attention to the divine perspective lately and perhaps that might help me out a bit more in the long run. I really had fun putting this scene together, but the render time was through the clouds; the part I hate about 3D, especially on my computer! Thanks so much for the and the comment and for visiting, I really appreciate it!
