This has been the culmination of a project months in the making! (Though it's also a project that should've been finished a months ago.
)As is mentioned in the title this is part 1 of a 2 part story.
-I hesitate to mention this but, for those offering critique I must make a clarification; This has been a project months in the making. I'm not asking you to hold back or pull punches, rather just be aware that my art has improved since I originally sketched this thing out. Please take a look at one or two of my other recent pictures before you tailor your advice based on this picture alone.

poor apple bloom, I can relate to that feeling, never knew my grand pa very well but use to have so much fun when I was with em. hopefully granny will have a picture of them to give bloom so she can at least remember their faces.

I remember saying that I would like to see this plot in the actual show somewhere, but if this ends on a grassy hill under an apple tree at sunset when Applejack gives a touching story, I may have said that.

So much sadness this weekend. First long-time muppeteer Jerry Nelson dies.
Now a story of Applebloom and the lose of her parents. Pretty sad weekend.

Am i the only one who thinks it would be better if AJ's Parents where passed in the show, That sounds horrible but what i mean is it would make for an amazing and very mature lesson, Also it would be much better than them popping up out of nowhere in season 3 like some people speculate :/
