Theres no particular timeline here, just a Commi-wank with an interesting resultant world

Ah, good old red alert style history.
Hannover though...seriously.... I'm living there, not much capital city material. Not even a million people living here. Interesting scenario nonetheless.

Hey, it's a world divided by Communism and Capitalism - of course it's Red Alert style
lol well you never know - refugees from the Rhineland, or escaping the Communist west, added to increased American interest... perhaps the place enjoyed a greater prominence in the rebuilt West Germany Or maybe when I finally write it down for sure I'll choose Munich or Frankfurt lol

Sounds plausible. But something larger would be more realistic. Also there's little in this area that would keep advancing forces at bay, no mountains or large forests, but that doesn't really matter anyways with the amount of roads in Germany. But Further in the south there would be more realistic locations for a new exile capital.

Hmm okay, if I ever get around to writing a detailed description of Germany during the WW2-AW1-AW2 period, I'll have a proper think about it.

Thanks for the comments, btw

Cool. I tried a few things out, and this was the one I liked the most I imagine the Communist leadership in Britain being rather vehement - they were the ones to suggest the formation of the ComCom - and thus designing the Communist Britain flag to really feature the Hammer and Sickle rather prominantly.

This is awesome (too bad Sweden still appears to be a Capitalist nation!).

Thanks I'm working on the flag and map of the other major power of this world, the League of Allied Nations, of which Sweden is a part. Have a look at my gallery if you want to see the rest.

Wow! Looks nice! I like the red. Portugal's flag in particular just looks cool.

Though I think you could add Mexico and Iran, maybe even Egypt as council members. All of these countries are big with considerable power and influence in their respective regions and with notable communist movements. In Iran for example, the Marxists were one of the three major blocks in the 1979 Revolution, along with the Islamists and the Constitutionalists.

Thanks

The People's Council is made of the initial core nations that formed the ComCom, with most of the other nations having joined later, or been formed later (Poland and Ukraine being examples that split from the USSR to become semi-independant). There's been calls to change or enlarge the People's Council over the years, but none have borne fruit, yet...

Nice map. How did Alaska get detached from the USA? Or was it never sold?

Alaska and Canada's north-east were captured by the USSR during the 1st Arctic War Don't ask me for details on this though, I haven't worked it out yet lol
