x) there is bulb in this lightbox, only LED on the edge , and yes any paper is fine, on the last picture i use a 200g paper (like bristol paper) and a normal print paper

What about adding an attached box for the batteries so the wiring won't show (and to pick it up easier)?
It's neat, though I doubt I'd ever try it. I like electronic stuff, but I always just buy things from the store pre-made. ^_^" I guess it's partly because I figure whatever I can make, they can make better, and with custom parts.
I bought a glass table awhile ago to use for tracing, but found that I need a bright light under it to make it work. ...I wonder if those LED strips would work with it, if I could find some... Though, they might not work too well with ordinary glass.

yes it can be attached and go with an interruptor and a light regulator but it will take some place x)!
it won't really work with a normal glass(i try with glass and opaline(white plexy), i use a LCD backlight part because it's made of several reflective/refractive layer which diffuse the light on all the glass .

I'm the type of person who gets utterly confused at words and things I don't know much about (like math) xD Very useful, but I don't think its gonna be easy for me.

You're welcome! ^^ but I know that I'd probably end up wrecking the equipment haha... since I'm so clumsy xD I might try someday anyway if I can get the parts... It's so much cheaper than buying one, and your tutorial makes it seem not that tricky.

Brilliant! I'll have to keep my eyes out for the supplies! I know many people who'd LOVE something like this! (Myself included! ) Thank you very much for sharing these instructions! XD I'm a novice to any kind of wiring work, but I really wanted to learn. This looks like a simple and useful project for that!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1
onwa7 In reply to Kiralex [2013-03-17 14:47:44 +0000 UTC]
