Oh, wow! Amazing!
Besides it being just technically a very good portrait, I also like how you captured Erik in this one drawing. He looks just as menacing as handsome as mysterious, this captures very well how I see him. I just have no words to express the awesome-ness of this portrait!
I bet Erik himself would approve, haha!

Damn, I don't ever think I have told you how wonderful this is, and how wonderful your art work is. If I weren't so afraid of copying 'your' Phantom I'd use you as an artist model.
I love his intense stare., it could melt antartica.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate that very, very much. His eyes are my favorite part too.
Please, feel free to use him, by all means! All I ask is that I am credited somewhere in the explanation.

It makes me so happy to see a Webber half-mask on a phantom that does not look like Butler. Bravi, bravi, bravissimi!

Thanks very much. I am certainly not a Butler fan. Gaar nicht.

This is a wonderful sketch of Erik. I really like the emotions that are portrayed here... He seems very intense and focused. Maybe a little on edge or angry. For sketching this with charcoal, this piece looks very well put together and neat.

One of the best portraites (and Eric's, and not-Eric's) i've ever seen. The pathetic face, full of sufferings and loneliness and perfect shaping of volumes

Er, thank you, but I don't quite understand the "Eric's and not quite Eric" comment.
Also, I believe that it is spelled with a k.
But enough of that....I'm glad that you enjoyed it!

You've got a talent for shading, and it's shocking how realistic the face looks!
I'll have to add you to my watch! ^^

interesting... I like it because it seems like the mask is more emotive that his actual face... looking at his face, I'd say he's more indifferent, while the mask is portraying a more angry, emotive side.
Nicely done.

Somehow that happens alot when I'm just sketching him...the mask, being the more revealing, charged expression. Interesting thing. Thank you.

He looks very tense and concentrated. You say he's watching Christine...he could also be watching some opera being rehearsed, paying attention to every detail, picking up any mistakes the cast makes and just waiting to find something to inform the managers about. Ah, I believe I see contempt in his gaze, too. Carlotta must have appeared on stage.

Well, not quite contempt. Rather, in it's stead I was going for intensity.
