"Lady Ophelia Necro, one of many names she goes by," James answered. "The Mistress of Darkness, Demi-Goddess of Death, or The Faceless Phantom. I've done reassearch on her," James explained noticing Jena's look of surprise. "Apparently, she is a real Demi-Goddess of Death, well one of the three. She's got a browser page, a cult following, and even a site devoted to her and her religion."

"A Deni-God?" Jena murmured. "Y-You don't really believe in that, do you?"

"You're looking at living proof of her power," Scarlet said.

"What?" Jena said.

"Sixty years ago, she gave me the curse of immortality, I haven't aged a day sense," Scarlet said.

"You're i-immortal?" Jena gasped. "I've always wanted to live forever."

"Believe me," Scarlet said, turning to Jena, "immortality is just as much a curse as it is a gift."
