Scientific Name: Antilope cervicapra
Size: 75-85cm tall in the shoulders, up to 120cm long

Diet: Herbivorous; diet consisted of grass, acacia leaves, fruits
Description: A graceful and slender Blackbuck, was the only member of the genus Antilope. Males have the most striking features, are his spiraling horns, marked with rings, and sweep backwards from his head in a v-like arrangement. He's more larger and blacker than the females. The blackbucks lived in 3 types of groups; a herd of females with their fawns, territorial males, and bachelor herds of young adult males. They are strongly resembled to the gazelles, though they are closely related to them. These black and gold gazelles mainly found in India, but they are extinct in Bangladesh. The predators of the blackbuck, are wolves, cheetahs, dingoes, and jackals. These agile vegetarians, shared their habitats with the nilgai, chinkara, chital, and water buffaloes. As carcass, that the rarest scavenging predators are lions, tigers, and striped hyenas.
