Description: One of the largest cattle in Africa, and one of the Big Five(among with the 2 African rhino species, lion, leopard, and Bush Loxodont). The cape buffalo can graze quicker than most grazers, with the help of their tongues and incisor rows, to make this cattle eat a lot more grass than other herbivores. The lawn-mowers of Africa lived in big herds, consisted of related cows, their calves, subordinated bulls, high-ranking bulls and cows, and old or invalid animals. Young bulls kept distances away from an alpha bull, because the alpha bull is not only that he's strict, but he's recognized by his thick horns. Elder bulls may join the herd, without fighting against the young and aggressive bulls. As one of the Big Five, the cape buffalo is also known as "Black Death," or "Black Widow-maker," regarded as the most dangerous and deadliest herbivores, due to their intelligence, able to sneak behind the hunters and charge right to them. These buffaloes had killed and gored over 200 people, than other man-killing animals, which these cattle are reported to kill more people, than other animals in Africa, but the same claims as hippos and crocodiles. The cape buffalo had predators, like lions, spotted hyenas, and crocodiles, yet there are predators of the buffalo calf, like cheetahs, leopards, and spotted hyenas.
