Description: Legends says that this canine was depicted as the one with a badger-like head, with a lion-like body and tail, and with thin legs like a deer. Not only that they have big wide and sharp teeth, that can crack the bones, and within a wide smile opening right back to between ears and eyes. Pliny the Elder described the leucrotta, as a hybrid between an African lion and the spotted hyena, and that this lion-hyena hybrid is depicted as a hermaphroditic female that can bear offspring without any males. The mythic beast was said that they lived in Ethiopia and/or India. These large dogs are closely similar to spotted hyenas, which they lived in packs. Female leucrottas are dominant in their pack, so even the lowest-ranking female dominates the highest ranking male. Like seths, that leucrottas had spots, but they got diamond-like rosettes, almost like a tiger, but tigers are more striped than the leucrottas. Like that of African and Asian wild dogs, the leucrottas can swarm larger prey, even more bigger than elephant calves, down, so they can eat. Like hyenas, coyotes, wolves, and other animals that are misunderstood, the leucrottas are misunderstood as the evil, ugly, freakish, daemonic monsters who can eat chunks of human meat. In real life, these predators are shy, social, and nice, just like wolves, which they don't attack humanoids, like you. Maybe a sick, and rabid 'zombified' predator who got diseases from ratpanthers will kill you, like a rabid wolf can be the only wolf that can kill a human. You and the healthy leucrottas should, STAY THE HECK, AWAY FROM THE SICK LEUCROTTAS, unless you can cure them, to get rid of the diseases. Enemies and competitors, besides humans and dogs, are ratpanthers, bears, hyenas, lions, tigers, hyapins, seths, kalidahs, brainshrinkers, foxes, wolves, and other leucrottas can compete the leucrottas for their kill. Leucrottas are thought to be strong like your domestic bull, and as fast as a cheetah, due to their long bodies, but short thin legs, to make this big dog, more of an oversized, long-legged weisli that's painted like a hybrid between a cheetah, leopard, and spotted hyenas. Do you know what else? Their laughter is similar to spotted hyenas' cries, used for not only for distress, excitement, and sadness, but for something that they laughed with, or laughed at one of them, us, you, or me.

Hmm.... No hooves, badger's head, or lion's mane. Doesn't seem like a Crocotta to me.

I know, But the head markings on the marked one is based on the badger's stripes, to make looked like the one with the badger's head, and it had the mane on the back of the neck, but fluffy as the lion's manes. And the hooves, on their back legs, to make looked hoofed.

This looks nothing like an animal from mythology, just looks like a regular animal. What happened to your more fantastic designs like your centaurs, or hippogryphs?

I miss your more outrageous designs. They were true to the myth, yet they had a sense of realism.
